So you’ve decided what you want to do next with your life, and you’re gearing up for September. If you’ve already had your interview and been accepted onto a course at college, the next step will be enrolment.
What is enrolment?
Enrolment is when you officially agree to become a college student. You’ll need to come in on your specific enrolment date for which you should have received via letter, to enrol. Remember, you cannot start your course in September if you do not enrol.
What happens at enrolment?
At enrolment, you’ll need to show us any certificates which you needed to get onto your course. You’ll also receive your student ID badge which also allows you to use the college bus service, pay for your lunch using our cashless catering service, or use the library amongst other things.
Enrolment gives you a chance to meet others on your course, and talk to your tutors asking any important questions you may have before you start in September.
What happens if I can’t attend my enrolment date?
You must tell college as soon as possible by sending your enrolment slip back, which is included with your enrolment letter, informing us when you are available or by calling 01623 413639. A tutor will phone you back as soon as possible to arrange a convenient time for you come in.
I’ve enrolled, what’s next?
Once you’ve enrolled, you can keep in touch with us on social media, including our new ‘Whatsapp’ service (message: 07816587810) so you can ask as us anything you like before starting college. You could also call our friendly team on freephone 0808 100 3626 no question is too big or small!
Full-time courses will begin from Monday 5 September.
We look forward to meeting you all, ready to start your college journey with us!
